400mBaud this is our fastest communications platform ever. We are calling
this Link 3. FireWire is amazing for networking drives, I/O and other industrial
field hardware. Plug into one drive on a system and have access to all
of your parameters in the entire system. Firewire communication is so fast,
registration control can be performed via communications. Allows for easy
integration of large industrial systems and allows gateways to other communications
listed below. |
 Link is still the heart of the company. With over 15 years in service running
at 2.7M baud. This closed loop, event driven, peer-to-peer, fiber optic
network system sill gives you quite a bang for your buck. Plug into one
drive/system module and have access to all of the parameters on the entire
system. Allows for easy integration of large industrial systems and allows
gateways to other communications listed below. |
 Modbus
TCP and EtherNet/IP have been very popular networking schemes that allow
our drive systems an easy means of communication to a variety of PLC’s
and HMI’s. Several of our drives can directly communicate via ethernet
for simple systems. Ethernet can be combined with FireWire or Link to allow
a PLC or HMI to talk to an entire Network of Drives. |
 Profibus
DP – This is a popular communications platform in Europe. It is the
main means of communicating directly to a Siemens PLC. Several of our drives
can directly communicate to ProfiBus for simple systems. ProfiBus can be
combined with FireWire or Link to allow a PLC to talk to an entire Network
of Drives. |

 DeviceNet
is one of several communication schemes that allows us to communicate with
Allen-Bradley PLC’s. Several of our drives can directly communicate
to DeviceNet for simple systems. DeviceNet can be combined with FireWire
or Link to allow a PLC to talk to an entire Network of Drives. |
 ControlNet
is one of several communication schemes that allows us to communicate with
Allen-Bradley PLC’s. Several of our drives can directly communicate
to ControlNet for simple systems. ControlNet can be combined with FireWire
or Link to allow a PLC to talk to an entire Network of Drives. |

 CANopen
has been a popular European communication platform. Several of our drives
can directly communicate to CANopen for simple systems. CANopen can be
combined with FireWire or Link to allow a PLC to talk to an entire Network
of Drives. |
 RS-232/485
serial networks using Modbus RTU have been around forever. We have many
drives that communicate via this protocol. These can also be combined with
FireWire or Link to allow a PLC to talk to an entire Network of Drives |
