WHY TRAINING?
It is essential, because of their importance, that the drive user becomes totally
confident and familiar with the equipment.
The professional training package offered by SSD Drives is designed to fulfil
this need by giving a sound grounding in the basic principles coupled with extensive
hands-on experience.
Attendance on the courses will ensure the control engineer is designing the most
efficient systems and that the maintenance engineer is confident of minimising
down-time and lost production.
WHO WILL BENEFIT?
The courses are designed to meet the requirements of engineers of all disciplines
and experience from any industry.
The majority of the courses assume no previous drives knowledge; those courses
requiring some drives experience are indicated in the course description notes.
All training is appropriate to original equipment manufacturers, end users,
consultants and distributors.
WHAT DO THE COURSES INCLUDE?
The majority of courses start with the basic principles of the product or application
and build up to cover the details of the equipment, installation and commissioning.
Emphasis is placed on practical hands-on sessions and much use is made of working equipment.
WHERE AND WHEN ARE THE COURSES HELD?
SSD Drives has a fully equipped custom designed training school located in Bury, Greater Manchester at Junction 2 of the M66. Hotel accomodation is available within walking distance.
Alternatively where appropriate, courses can be arranged at the user
site or other venue to suit.
Please see Course schedule for details of courses currently available at the Bury Training Centre.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
