DC DIGITAL DRIVES - Basic Level - 1 Day
A course aimed at the maintenance engineer who needs to get the machine up and running rapidly on breakdown.
The course gives an understanding of general motor principles and control plus how to set up the drive.

Course content:-
Review of DC motor and thyristor principles
590+ Drive Overview
MMI Interface
Drive setup
Upload/download using standard PC tools


DC DIGITAL DRIVES - Engineer Level - 2 Day
A course which will allow the designer to get the most out of the highly versatile 590+ Digital drive as well as main drive functions.
All aspects of the communication interfaces are covered in the first half of the course.
The second half of the course being dedicated to configuring the powerful software of the 590+ both manually and using all the currently available PC based software.
